PROVIDING HELICOPTER AGRICULTURE SUPPORT SINCE 1976

Anderson Helicopters have been operating since 1989, however we have experience in this field since 1977 when Kevin Anderson began operating a helicopter for Whirl-Wide Helicopters on the West Coast. Operating Two AS350 Squirrel’s, One B206L3 & a R44R2, we have the largest capacity for agricultural helicopter support on the West Coast.

Aerial Fertiliser & Seeding

Our aircraft have dedicated fertiliser application buckets. A Wolf Wheeled loader is able to take product from trucks, bins, bags & silos. We use Tracmap Ag-GPS in all our aircraft for precision guidance & proof of placement.

Aerial Spraying

From large jobs to small, we can handle it all. Our Airbus AS350B2 & Robinson R44 R2 are both setup with spray gear & Tracmap Ag-Gps. We have three full time ground crew to support agricultural operations.

We are a NZAAA Aircare Accredited Operator. This means that we are independently audited to the highest standard for compliance with all regulations relating to Aerial Application.

Supporting our aircraft on the ground are an Isuzu 4WD Truck with Mixing Unit, Isuzu Nrr Crane Truck for Water Cart & a Nissan Patrol with Refueler & trailer Mixing Unit.
